Dear Friends: Swami Chinmayananda was born on Monday, May 8, 1916 at Ernakulam, Kerala in a cultured, aristocratic and wealthy family as the son of Kuttan and Purukutti Menon. He was named Balakrishnan Menon and the astrologer priest who saw his horoscope declared that he would become a man of worldwide repute.
It is our great fortune that he became 20th Century’s greatest teacher of Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads transforming lives of millions of his devotees world wide. All of us are fortunate to learn the wisdom of our ancestors directly or indirectly from him. For that we will remain for ever grateful to God and indebted to him.

As token of expressing our gratitude we will celebrate his birth centenary (100th Birth Day) on Sunday, May 8. 2016 along with Mother’s Day Celebration between 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Vision Center followed by Lunch.

We humbly request you to mark your calendar and join us for the celebration with your family and friends.
Please see the attached program flyer and RSVP as soon as possible.
